Hi Missy, so glad you like it, yes this bromeliad loves full sun! It gets about 5-6 hours of direct sun & 3-4 hours of bright light when the sun moves behind our house. It's a very hardy plant but unfortunately my blanchetiana bromeliad grew so big it crowded out the pack. This is my only one left. I wish I knew the name of it as the tag has been long since lost. Though I do remember that I bought these at Tropiflora up in Sarasota, FL so they may know the species name, lol.
Thank you so much for checking out my blog, you are too kind, thanks for the compliments! You are more than welcome to use the photos. I really appreciate you asking to use the pictures as well as the accolades. Good luck with your research and would love for you to keep me updated as to the progress! I hope you continue to visit my virtual garden, lol! Wishing you a wonderful Autumn!
It's a beauty, and looks like it takes full sun as well. Does it?
